We are proud to host a new series at Phil & Sebastian Mission, Sunday Night Standup. The aim is to showcase local comedians in the aptly-named “coffeehouse” style, which varies slightly from the type of comedy performances you’d find at a comedy club (sometimes referred to as “Las Vegas style”) — the coffee house format lends itself more to storytelling in a bright and inviting atmosphere. The first in this monthly series will take place on Sunday, September 11th 2016 at 7:00pm.

The lineup for the inaugural Sunday Night Standup will include:

• Derek Adams (winner of Laugh Shop’s Joke of Thrones)
• Nav Ghali (recent finalist in 2016 Yuk & Comers Comedy Competition)
• Austin Lonnenberg (also a recent finalist in 2016 Yuk & Comers Comedy Competition)
• Brett Forte (Yuk Yuk’s Top New Comic 2016)
• Headliner Todd Ness

Everything kicks off at 7:00pm on Sunday, September 11th — free cover. We’ll also have our full wine, beer, and coffee menu available alongside our evening food menu.
