2015 Canadian National Barista Championships

2015 Canadian National Barista Championships

We recently returned from the 2015 Canadian Barista Championships in Vancouver, and we couldn’t be more proud of the results. Three of our competitors, David Kim, Aimee Ferguson and Chris Tellez placed in the top five finalists. Chris Tellez received second place, Aimee Ferguson placed third and David Kim (first time ever at Nationals) placed fifth.

Held in the beautiful Canada Place convention centre on the waterfront, we spent two days in competition seeing many familiar and friendly faces. Along with our competitors, Phil was one of three head judges, along with Karine Ng (Director of Coffee Quality, Phil & Sebastian), and Tim (Manager, Phil & Sebastian). We hope you enjoy our memories from the weekend!
