Walls! At Marda Loop

Walls! At Marda Loop

Marda Loop has walls

Everything is still moving steadily along at our new Marda Loop location. In addition to having finished working in all the electrical and main plumbing, we also now have framed-in, real-life walls!

Next week, we begin building the bar which will host our new Synesso machine and a Clover brewer among other things.

This week we also received the chairs that will be used at the cafe, and I must say, especially coming from a design side of things, they are awesome! We also have matching stools that will be at the cupping bar.

I think it was Quinn yesterday that commented that our cafe has a very 1930’s feel to it. Phil has been saying that it is very clean looking. Indeed, every touch of design that is going into Marda is very intentional and will continue to set the high standards that we want to achieve. It’s been an exciting process watching each detail, small and large, that goes into the planning and building of a new cafe. Even more exciting, will be to see how everything pans out to create a great atmosphere at Marda Loop.

The following photos show a chronology of some of the things that have been happening for Marda in the last week or two. Basically, from before we have walls, until now!

Thanks for all your support!
