It’s fast approaching this year’s Regional Barista Competition hosted at Fratello Coffee Roasters on Saturday. Our competitors, Chris Tellez and Jeremy Ho are in the final stages of preparing for the competition. It’s going to be a great year with some really amazing baristas from Edmonton, Calgary, and more! And not only is it a free event but Charcut’s new foodtruck, Alley Burgers will be there along with some delicious Fiasco Gelato.
In addition to the great competition happening Saturday, there will be workshops hosted by our own Sebastian Sztabzyb and Brent Fortune (Coffee Common) that are happening all day and are free to attend.
Tomorrow night, we will be hosting a Celebrity Barista Throwdown and party at our Marda Loop location. It’s free to attend, starts at 7:30pm and is sure to be a really fun night of coffee.
