Lights Out Decaf
BROWN SUGAR | DRIED FRUITS | WALNUT
We're pretty proud of our decaf. It's very tasty and holds its own against other coffees in our lineup. It's very round, but it shines because of its deep sweetness, reminiscent of dried fruits. We developed this roast so that the coffee works both for filter and espresso.
Our decaf was decaffeinated using the ethyl acetate (EA) method. EA processing uses a natural sugarcane-derived solvent to remove caffeine while preserving flavor. Often called “sugarcane” decaf, EA is a clean, sustainable method that also results in yummy decaf.
The coffee in Lights Out Decaf right now comes from the Garzón region in Huila, Colombia. You can read more below.

USING SUGARCANE TO CREATE SWEET DECAF!
This coffee comes from a group of producers from the lovely Garzón region in the south of Colombia. We tasted this lot prior to decaffeination and it was super chocolatey, round and sweet. Then the coffee underwent EA (aka “sugarcane”) decaffeination in Colombia.
The ethyl acetate (EA) decaf process is a method that uses a naturally derived solvent from sugarcane to gently remove caffeine. The green coffee is steamed, soaked in the EA solution to extract caffeine, then steamed again to remove any residue. This approach preserves the coffee’s original character and is often referred to as “sugarcane” or “natural EA” decaf. It's a clean, sustainable method that delivers full flavor without the caffeine.

PAIRS WELL WITH
Best decaf of my life. It’s decaf so will never be at the level of other specialty coffees but this one is close. No comparison an I’ve tried the best from a lot of areas. In a latte it’s beyond amazing.
Favorite decaf coffee I've ever had.
Love this decaf! Great flavour.
To steal the name, this decaf is lights out better than most decafs out there - and I’ve tried many of them. Love this decaf, all the flavour and better for me.
