If you want to improve your coffee at home and you like brewing drip, French press, or AeroPress, this conical-burr grinder is for you. You can get an espresso grind out of it, but we don't recommend it because it causes too much wear and tear. The Encore comes from US-based Baratza, which is solely focused on designing and manufacturing home espresso grinders. It's no surprise that a company with that kind of focus developed a line of grinders that covers the needs of most home users. They stand by their products and offer tons of support. We are fans.
